| Hi-Tech Polishing of Newington,
Connecticut was established in 1989, providing precision polishing on production
and experimental airfoils for jet engines, for G.E., Westinghouse and P&W
parts that require very close tolerances. We also do high-precision
deburring on parts for hydraulic landing gears. We are known for
being able to maintain the specifications detailed in blueprints and the
microfinish required for high-class polishing; thereby, continuing to meet
our customers' expectations in quality and delivery performance.
Hi-Tech employs 16 Class-A polishers/finishers
- each averaging 10 years of experience - capable of working guillotine
gauges, blending, deburring and performing a variety of jobs.
Hi-Tech presently houses 10 Bader
and 16 Baldor bench machines for deburring and buffing, and is located
in the Progress Business Center Industrial Park (Pane Road) in Newington,
with an area of 3,200 sq. ft.
We have 30 years of experience in
deburring and precision polishing of airfoils and 6 years of experience
in the medical implants field as detailed below. Our experience in
this are was gained by servicing the companies on the attached customer
list.
During that time, we've handled airfoils
and medical implants made from several types of materials, different sizes
and contours, and have always delivered the high quality required despite
the varying degrees of difficulty.
In addition, Hi-Tech Polishing has
also gained a reputation for polishing femoral implants of various styles
made from materials such as titanium alloys, cobalt and stainless steel
consisting of various sizes and contours requiring polishing to a 00.1
microfinish. We also deburr/polish other difficult-to-handle medical
implants, such as: stems, tibial trays, conversion modules, pins
and unipolar heads for companies specializing in medical research products.
Besides polishing, we offer the additional
related services including grit blasting, glass beading, passivation and
certification.
